Our take
Edelman handles large-scale corporate communications rather than hands-on search cleanup.
As a PR-led firm, it relies heavily on media coverage and placements to shape what people find.
How it compares
Edelman covers 2 of the 9 specialties we track (crisis response, digital pr). Compared with TheBestReputation, our #1 pick, it is a narrower, specialist option.
Buyers who need more than crisis response usually end up pairing Edelman with a second provider, or choosing a full-service firm instead.
Before you sign
Ask Edelman who exactly will do the work, how progress is reported, and what happens if you want to cancel. Get contract length and cancellation terms in writing.
Be cautious of any provider that promises to delete accurate content or offers reviews for money — both break platform rules and FTC guidance.
